IVCA Chairperson and Shri Gopal Srinivasan, Senior Board Member IVCA met Shri Arvind Shrivastava, Additional Secretary to PM on 7th September 2021 to discuss the critical industry issues on Tax parity, GST on performance, international listing.

IVCA members met Shri Raman Chopra, JS TPL II CBDT to discuss few issues such as clarification on risk of creation of Association of Persons under IT Act, 1961, in Co-Investment Structure using an AIF and other tax issues on 23rd September 2021. Mr. Kalpesh Jain, Managing Director & CFO at Multiples Equity, Mr. Rajat Tandon President IVCA, Mr. Tushar Sachade, Partner PWC, Mr. Subramanium Krishnanan, Partner EY, attended the meeting.

Ms Renuka Ramnath and Mr. Gopal Srinivasan attended the Parliamentary Standing Committee attended the Parliamentary Standing Committee meeting on 3rd September 2021 on "AIF VC/PE Funds Key to Fuel India's Atmanirbhar Startup Growth".

IVCA submitted letter to SEBI Chairman on the ongoing issues such as Appointment of a merchant banker by an AIF, Accredited definition of an AIF, Performance benchmarking of sub- categories, Responsibility & Liability of IC members jointly severally on 1st September 2021.

IVCA submitted representation to CBDT chairman for clarification on risk of creation of Association of Persons under IT Act, 1961, in Co-Investment Structure using an AIF on 1st September 2021.

Submission to SEBI on Specific representations on the SEBI (Issue of capital and disclosure requirements) (third amendment) Regulations, 2021 (“ICDR Amendment Regulations”) related to promoter--person in control recommendations on 2nd September 2021.
